The journey began in the historic city of Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2017. Ross, a passionate art lover, and the founder of The Trumpet Shop Vintage Prints, started this venture as a modest pop-up shop. The unique charm of vintage prints, the intricate details, and the stories that they told captivated Ross. He wished to share this passion with others and thus, the concept of The Trumpet Shop Vintage Prints was born.
Specialising in giclée printed reproductions, a fine art digital printing method using specialist archival pigment inks and acid-free high grade paper to achieve prints of superior archival quality, light fastness and stability. All the prints aim to capture the essence, the details, and the beauty of original vintage art.
Over the years, the shop transitioned to an exclusively online platform to reach a wider audience and share the beauty of these classic prints with art connoisseurs worldwide. Today, I am hugely proud to say that I have sold over 20,000 prints globally. Each print that leaves the shop carries with it a piece of history, and an unwavering dedication to quality and authenticity.
