The Journal des Dames et des Modes was a French fashion magazine that was published from 1797 to 1839. In 1912, the magazine was relaunched by Lucien Vogel as a luxury publication featuring illustrations by prominent artists of the Art Deco period.
George Barbier was one of these artists and he contributed numerous illustrations to the magazine. The illustration showcases the luxurious lifestyle of the Art Deco era.
What quality of paper is used?
