Service Update (November 5th 2020)
*All orders received by 10th December 2020 will be dispatched in time for Christmas delivery*
All current orders are in hand and I am dispatching as many as possible in as sequential an order as possible, with priority to the longest standing orders first.
As a guide of when to expect your order, please refer to the following date windows:
For all remaining outstanding orders placed before 1st October 2020, please now expect your dispatch notification to arrive by Friday 20th November.
For all remaining outstanding orders placed after 1st October, please now expect your dispatch notification to arrive by Friday 4th December.
The backlog of orders is reducing, albeit with some further disruptions along the way, but overall the plan is working and will also make things smoother for all concerned in the long run.
Communications are also improving as a result of the reduced backlog, but I do appreciate the frustration of not receiving a personal response. It's not me being rude, or unprofessional - the workload associated with staying on top of everything has been both massive and unrelenting this year. I am doing my best each day to do as much good for as many people as possible.
I am also trying to scale existing activity as best i can, which means that there will still be posts and adverts on social media, but with a strong degree of measure about their reach. (Stopping all activity would be counter productive in the longer term.)
I cant pretend that it hasn't been a hugely challenging period to try an operate smoothly in as a one man band business, and I can only apologise for any frustration caused by your shopping experience with The Trumpet Shop.
Overall, the support and enthusiasm shown for The Trumpet Shop has been incredible - I can't thank you all enough for that, it means the world.
(Owner, The Trumpet Shop)
I do appreciate that some orders will have been placed for a specific purpose which may have also been time sensitive - if your order is no longer suitable for your original intentions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with "Refund Request" in the subject line, with your order name and order number / delivery postcode in the email itself, and I will then aim to resolve your order as best I can for you from there.
Your honest reviews of your experience with The Trumpet Shop are absolutely welcome on either Trustpilot or Facebook, they were set up for that very reason, to allow others the opportunity to consider them before placing an order.
My only request is that you wait to review your experience as a whole from point of order to receipt of your prints, or order resolution, to give an overall perspective of your experience, rather than just a snippet.
